As evidenced by the recent Royal Commission, and corroborated by numerous industry publications and submissions, generating profit in aged care appears increasingly daunting. Conventional management focus centres on three kpi’s:
Providers spend countless hours restructuring or otherwise shuffling deck chairs with limited outcomes. Further analysis reveals the above kpi’s remain relatively static, regardless of endeavour, and are subject to external influence.
The elephant in the room is the Administrative Cost Of Care Delivery.
